Chambi Julie Andam is currently the director of human resources in Bamenda City Council (BCC)  and also a senior executive administrator, Regional and Local Authority (RLA). She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Geography from the university of Yaoundé and has attended and obtained certificates in many short training programs such as in Management, Human Resource Management, Resource Mobilization, Project Writing, Project Implementation and Management (PIM), Strategic Planning, Conflict Transformation, Community Mediation and Arbitration, Do No Harm and a lot more. Julie has been working for the City Council since 1998,  before being director of human resources, she had been Chief of Cabinet from 1999-2005, Inspector of Service from 2005-2010, and Director of Administrative Affairs and Human Resources (DAAHR) from 2010-2021. Besides her duties of Director of Human Resources Bamenda City Council, she is a Board Chair person of Community Initiative  for Sustainable development (COMINSUD), Council Representative to the North West Regional Fund for Health Promotion (PIG), president of female workers in the Mezam Council Workers trade union, A member of SWNOT ( South West North West Women’s Task Forece for Peace), Congregational Secretary of Presbyterian Church Musang and a professing Christian, Mother of many children and grand children who loves singing and listening to gospel music and is also a composer.
